Frequently asked questions.

Who is face sculpting for?

Everyone.

It seems like stretching the skin will cause more damage, loose skin, and sagging?

Because we are working with the deep layers of the muscle, fascia of the ‘skin’ we are not stretching skin. We are toning the muscle beneath, releasing fascia that has become frozen and reintroducing blood supply and nutrients back into the top layers of skin. This is like a workout for the entire face, not a facial which only looks at the top layers of skin. As the integrity of the tissue beneath the skin improves, the layers of skin above become healthier and more resilient.

How many treatments will I require?

This depends on your starting point. A face in its 20’s. 30’s, 40’s and 50’s carries different challenges. I would recommend committing to 3 treatments to begin. And once the results from here begin to show in the skin health, we can re-assess. Self practice is key in this program. A monthly treat after establishing a baseline, alongside home practice is often all the is needed after corrections by a certified Face Up provider.

What if I have botox and fillers?

Botox and fillers have often been presented as a ‘preventative’ measure to slow down the appearance of wrinkles and sagging. Unfortunately, when the muscles become immobilised and the lymphatic drainage channels are impeded by filler, the underlying health of the skin suffers. My experience showed that the skin sagged and wrinkle in other areas. A game of cat and mouse. Every case is individual. It is possible to take the journey of being injectable free and still have beautiful and youthful skin and beauty. I am ready to help you with that journey. We do recommend a time period between last injections and Face Up sculpting so we don’t move product around the face and neck. Talk to us about your situation.
